The challenge

Site owners who want to move beyond WordPress need a usable starting point for their next project, while understanding which dynamic features will need replacements.

The export needs to carry useful context forward, including dynamic dependencies, asset failures, and migration notes.

Forms, search, comments, accounts, commerce, and other server-backed features may need replacements before a site can move to static hosting.

The approach

NextSite Exporter analyzes a WordPress site, exports public pages and supported same-origin assets, and packages the result with project instructions, migration notes, a report, and basic static-host configuration.

The workflow analyzes content and common dynamic dependencies, then shows export progress in the WordPress dashboard.

Each project includes AGENTS.md, MIGRATION.md, migration-report.json, a README, and basic static-host configuration alongside the exported HTML and local assets.

The outcome

A downloadable static project that site owners can review, test, put in version control, and continue developing with a developer or coding agent.
